From a lifelong passion with guitar construction, quality and sound and years of adjustment, modifications and repairs on my own instruments, I felt it was time to take it to the next level. Twenty years after the thought first crossed my mind, that dream became a reality when I attended the Roberto-Venn School of Lutherie in Phoenix, Arizona. After graduation from this five month long program in 2003, I spent a few years honing my craft at a local violin and stringed instrument repair shop. While juggling working second shift at an auto plant, I continued to work at perfecting my lutherie skills to make fine instruments.

When the plant closed, I took the opportunity to work full time as a luthier. I moved to Middleport, NY and built a shop in a building that I renovated. Nothing was spared making the shop, including state of the art temperature and humidity controls. Many of the machines and tools I use are unique and have been designed and built by me.

All construction, including finishing, is done by me, with no parts or work outsourced. These fine instruments are all handcrafted from start to finish.

Aesthetically, my simply appointed guitars allow the natural beauty and tonal quality of the carefully selected, unique woods and other materials to shine through. I will never compromise in the design or the craftsmanship of what I consider to be some of the finest looking and finest sounding acoustic guitars available.
